We believe in the development of open and enquiring minds; enabling everyone to achieve the very best they can in everything they undertake.
We hope you enjoy exploring our website and finding out about our school. It will provide a flavour of what it is like to be a member of the Brooksward Community as well as providing all the information you may require; whether you are a prospective parent, pupil, member of staff, governor or a member of our local community.
We pride ourselves on the friendly and welcoming atmosphere. All children and adults feel valued and are able to grow and learn in a supportive environment giving everyone the opportunity to achieve the highest standards.
As our mission statement says: We believe in the development of open and enquiring minds; enabling everyone to achieve the very best they can in everything they undertake.
We feel that education is a partnership between home and school. The school builds on the care of the home where valuable learning takes place through experiences of many kinds. At our school we offer many new opportunities to children to develop their abilities and aptitudes and enable them to meet challenges with confidence and enthusiasm.
Our creative curriculum allows children to experience all areas of the curriculum through art, drama, music and other creative aspects through school productions such as Cinderella-Rockerfella. We enjoy many enrichment activities such as trips out to enhance learning and having visitors come to our school.
We also enjoy the many challenges other areas of the curriculum bring. All of these experiences allow the children to learn most effectively through their preferred learning style and ensure that each child maximises their potential.
Please come and have a look around our school and experience all of these wonderful things for yourself.
